Chitika hosted on a VPS @ Servint
There has been storm brewing on various forums & blogs regarding Chitika's auditing process. For those of you who are unaware of the issue, here is a summary. Recently, Chitika finished their audit of the click reports to send out the payments for the month of October to publishers of their ads. Auditing is simply a process used by Chitika wherein they check the logs to remove and discount fradulent clicks (i.e., clicks generated by bots, automated scripts etc) and clicks from countries currently not supported. This process apparently has annoyed various website owners who publish Chitika's ads on their sites because following the audit they have seen their earnings decrease considerably. Chitika today has posted an explanation to this on their blog. |
